On behalf of Darktrace, we commenced the marketing campaign to assign its lease of the 10,500 sq ft part 1st floor at 1 Strand WC2 with our playful vlog alongside traditional marketing collateral.
After quickly settling an outstanding rent review, we secured 4 proposals and eventually assigned the lease to an international consultancy, advised by Ross Freedman of LONIC and David Earle of Lambert Smith Hampton.
Darktrace is one of the world’s leading cyber security companies, headquartered in Cambridge, and has more than 2,000 employees located across more than 100 countries. The disposal was prompted by the acquisition of Darktrace’s new 30,000 sq ft London HQ within 80 Strand.
This assignment was not straight forward and came with numerous challenges, like most traditional leasing transactions today, but was finally pushed over the line last week.
